When can I tell when the Hass avocados are ripe?
Avocados will slowly darken and soften in about 7 to 10 days. Press lightly on the fruit, when it is ripe it should give under the pressure.
How do I store Hass avocados?
After they are slightly soft to the “gentle squeeze,” they can be refrigerated for a week or more with little sacrifice in taste, but they are best enjoyed when ripened and eaten at room temperature, bringing out their unique, oily rich flavor and smooth texture.
